  • These pretty, pink flowers grow wild and cover the landscape all across the Shillong Jowai highway this time of year. These were shot at an Aperture of 7.1 and 1/100 Sec at 1600 ISO and 39.0 mm F/L. It was almost dusk and getting the right colour drove me nuts. Had to mess about with the ISO and WB a lot before I got pink and not white.

    This is beautiful. I happened to see a lot of the same flowers covering the hillside on the way to this place called Mawkriah the other day. It's just a blur of pink when you're driving fast. But you have to get this close to really appreciate each one.
