Shot at 5.6 Aperture and 1/60 Sec, on 400 ISO with a F/L of 55.0 mm. The Flash was On and the image has been cropped considerably.
Imagine waking up with this in front of your eyes in the morning. This bug is huge. Pretty much the size of my palm. It's not pretty but looking at it, it does look a little curious. Well that's what I see anyway.

Part of what was supposed to be an HDR attempt. Well I did learn that a cam on a bonnet is no substitute for a tripod. But I did end up with this as one of the wierd exposures. don't think there will be many attempts at HDR till I get a tripod now. Damn ! this is an expensive hobby.

One of the deer at the Barpeta Road temple. This male was kept away from the females and taking the shot from over the wall was the tricky bit. The angle isn't what I wanted but I do like the shot so.....

Found these guys while buying some chicken at Laitumukhrah market in Shillong. The owner didn't like their picture taken and I did recieve some taunts about them being unsellable as a result of the pics. Learning from the experience...... A Khasi folklore belief is that animals die if their picture is taken. But then, these guys were there to die if I'm not mistaken Mr. Butcher. Well whatever !! People just don't like random cameras. That I know. But even at a butcher shop? That's a first. Well, these guys were moved a fair distance away from my frame soon enough.

Another from the set for work. What's the best part of working in a park is that whenever you're tired or in a bad mood, all you need to do is go down to the rides and watch people and that always has a way of cheering you up. Smiles defenitely are infectious. The main reason why I always say I like my job.

Don't ask me how? No clue. Damn thing woulden't sit in one place on a table or on the floor but was comfy as hell on a finger. Well, I did get a few out with it on my desk and the floor. But this one I think is the best to start the series.

Another attempt at a landscape from Umiam. Tried a little bit of overexposure this time around to try and balance the contrast between the sky and the shore. Honestly, I don't really have an opinion about this one. But then, knowing me, I'd have naturally wanted to underexpose as I often do. Dunnoo.. Whats with me and dark pics?
