1/50 Sec, f/8.0, 200 ISO & 55.0 mm. This window sill by a staircase has always attracted butterflies. I think most of my butterfly pics have been from the same setting and thats a little bit of a bummer cause I'd love to find them in different settings. But then, I'm lucky to have so many different kinds in my collection so I won't complain.

The bottle cap of a brand of Bhutanese rum that a friend got for me. Power's an issue in Shillong these days and usually goes off at midnite. Being bored in the candle light brought about this. 0.8 Sec, f/5.6, 100 ISO and 55.0 mm.

Trek

One of my favourite spots in Meghalaya is the mountain that you can see Laitlum village from. It's a 2 hour trek from this spot to the village. No motorable roads and the only way to transport goods to there is a ropeway. These people were coming from the village while we were there last weekend just hanging about, admiring the scenery. Any other place in the country would have railings tourist spots and all the shabang that come with a scenic place like this usually. Thank God this doesn't. 1/160 Sec, f/25.0, 55.0 mm and 800 ISO.
